What we collect

When you fill in the contact form, you send us:

• your name;
• your phone number;
• your email address;
• the enquiry category you chose;
• the message you wrote.

Along with the enquiry we also automatically record which language of the site you were using, the page you sent the form from, and your IP address.

We do not ask for health or financial details or any other special category of data, and we ask you not to send passwords or login credentials in the message. If we receive them by mistake, please tell us and we will delete them.

Why we use it

We use your name, phone, email, category and message to read your enquiry and reply to it, and to prepare the work or quotation you asked about. The legal basis is carrying out the reply and the pre-contractual steps you requested (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The IP address exists only to make the submission limit work, which protects the form from automated submissions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not use this data for advertising or marketing, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not build profiles of your behaviour.

How long we keep it

We do not keep enquiries indefinitely.

• The enquiry — name, phone, email, category and message — is permanently deleted 24 months (730 days) after you send it.
• The IP address is removed from the enquiry after 90 days, because beyond that it no longer helps protect the form.

Deletion is automatic: a daily check on the site removes whatever has passed these limits, with nobody having to do it by hand. Deleted enquiries are removed outright, not moved to a bin.

If your enquiry leads to actual work or a contract, the documents for that relationship — quotations, invoices, technical records — are kept separately for the periods the law requires for accounting and tax records. This notice covers the enquiry you sent from the site, not those documents.

Who can see it

Enquiries are read only by the people at Planetmav who deal with them. Every submission is recorded inside the site and emailed to [email protected].

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which as the network provider handles the technical connection data needed to serve you the pages.

We do not sell, rent or pass your data to anyone for commercial purposes.

Cookies and analytics

The public pages of this site set no cookies on your device and load no third-party content or analytics: every browser request stays on planetmav.com.

WordPress sets technical cookies only for people signing in to the site’s administration area, which means us. The contact form uses a temporary security token, held on the server and not on your device.

Your rights

For the data you have sent us, you can at any time ask:

• to know what data we hold and receive a copy of it;
• to have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete;
• to have it deleted before the periods above expire;
• to restrict its use or to object to the processing;
• to receive it in a format another service can read.

To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. We reply within one month. If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect, why we collect it, or how long we keep it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
